    Abstract
A reconfigurable Time-to-Digital Converter (TDC) based on pulse stretcher and Gated Delay Line (GDL) with variable 12 to 15 coarse bit and 5 to 8 fine bits is proposed. The coarse bits are varying to measure the different range of input time and the fine bits are varying to get different resolution. The TDC uses front (TF) and back (TB) fractional parts to achieve high resolution. The highest input time of 129.75 µs can be measured using a 15-bit coarse counter and a resolution of 39.37 ps is achieved by the proposed 8 times stretching.
