    Abstract
Agriculture is India's most important sector which accounts for 18% of country's GDP. A conventional agricultural supply chain in India involves complex interconnected processes between various stakeholders before it reaches an end consumer. Which makes product information, authenticity, complete trust and traceability difficult to achieve. This brings the requirement of a system which can overcome these issues in the agricultural supply chain. This research work aims to study and propose a decentralized framework with the block-chain to handle transactions in the agricultural supply chain, which can lead to a transparent, traceable, fair and efficient end to end system. Process flows have been proposed for the participants to communicate efficiently and algorithms have been designed for the communications as transactions in block-chain. Proposed process flows and algorithms have been implemented on the private block-chain using hyperledger fabric and hyperledger composer modeling language(CTO) and the transactions are written in the JavaScript. Implementing block-chain based solution to current agriculture supply chain benefits all the participants with maximum reach, maximum quality, and maximum profit. It also provides security aspects such as fairness of the Records, transparency of the Process, traceability of the Product and Accountability for the Stakeholders in the current agriculture supply chain.
