dc.description.abstractone district to another district, within or between states, accompanying their parents on a search for seasonal employment are the most at risk group of all. This restricts them to the accessibility of educational schemes and keeps them continual illiterate or undereducated.<p/>Interestingly, even though some of these children may be enroled in their native village schools, they have no access to education and remain absent for long periods of time and eventually drop out. Hence, the children of these migratory labourers remain deprived of their basic right to education. The present project explores the impact of temporary labour migration of parent's and basic education of their children between the ages of 6-14 and their dropping out from school. The aim of the project is to try and encourage children to continue their education, which is severely hampered due to migration and which would also help children get back to mainstream education. Through this project, I wish to motivate children to go to school and them to help convey the importance of formal education in their life.
