dc.description.abstractThis report gives a brief explanation of PHY interfaces and its sub-modules. It gives an overview of PMA , PCS Raw and the sequence of PHY initialization. The role of SerDes with its main components is elaborated to understand its importance in PHY. Further, the verification environment is described to understand how the testbench interacts with the DUT. The roles of various files, class objects and parameters are discussed to understand how the configurations are modified depending on the currently executing test and protocol. Finally, the regression results and protocol coverage of the project N621 is discussed.
