Abstract: Wind turbine power generation quantity is increasing at a much faster rate day by day in the field of power systems. And wind turbine failures lead to crucial financial losses. Therefore, it is very important to apply strategies that help Clients in monitoring the turbines and also help in failure management. Wind turbine failure mode monitoring system is associated with electrical and control system failures through innovatively applying modern technologies like intelligent sensors, data acquisition along with the existing technologies to economically perform detect the electrical system failures for wind turbines. The intelligent sensors inside the wind turbine send the collected data to the Remote terminal unit. Remote terminal units transmit the sensor data from input streams to the server. This data will be used for triggering alarms for failure management. Application program interface will be used for processing analytical data to monitor the turbine.
