    Abstract
Authenticity of search results corresponding to the users query is an importantrequirement in public cloud as massive data are being generated from differentsources frequently. There is a constant rise in the trust issues on the Server asin the current scenario we rely entirely on them (the Servers) for generating theresults that satisfy our query specifications. In this work, we are trying to ensurethe client about the validity of the search results corresponding to a query. Themain focus here is on conjunctive keyword query searches where the result setcontains all the documents from data collection that have all the query terms. We studied an exiting scheme, which addresses this problem and found outthat the solution is compositionally expensive. We propose improved solutionswith reduced proof verification time and size of the integrity proof of the resultset using the concept of Aggregate Signatures. The proposed improvement workswell in case of both, single and multiple data owners. We analyzed the schemewith respect to its security claims and simulated the results with respect to itsefficiency. The exerimental results show that the computation time is reducedwith the proposed modifications and there was a significant decline in the size ofintegrity proof.
